暑假要到了，您也在規劃您的家庭、朋友或個人旅遊嗎？到國外旅遊，除了要趕行程，還要規劃合適的路線，此外，若不太熟悉當地的交通，或是手機突然沒電，就一定需要詢問當地人或是服務人員。淶特英語在此教大家五個用語，不讓交通問題影響旅遊興致。
1. Excuse me, can you help me with directions?
不好意思，請問您能幫我指個路嗎？
方向的英文是 Direction，要請人幫忙指路，除了用上述的問法，還可以說
Excuse me, would you mind showing me the way?
若答應時會說：
“Sure, I’d be happy to help.”
當然，我很樂意幫助你。
“Not at all, I’d gladly show you.”
一點都不會在意，很樂意能為你指路。
2. Do you know how I can get to the nearest train station?
您知道如何去到最近的火車站嗎？
「到」某處的英文時常用 get to，後面可以接任何你想去的地點，比如：
Get to this restaurant / the museum / the nearest supermarket
到這間餐廳/博物館/最近的超市
3. Which exit should I take to reach the bus stop?
要走幾號出口才能到公車站？
到達的英文是 reach，公車站的英文是 bus stop，而從哪個出口出去會用 take 來表示動作。
“You can take Exit 5 to the bus stop.”
可以從五號出口出去，去到公車站。
4. Is the place within walking distance from here?
這個地方是否走路就能到達呢？
Within walking distance 指走路就可以到達的距離，回答時會加時間在前面：
“Sure. It’s within a three-minute walk.”
是，三分鐘內可以走到。
5. I’m a bit lost. Would you mind walking me to the train station?
我有點迷路，您介意和我一起走到火車站嗎？
如果真的沒辦法，就只能請剛好順路的人也一起走到指定地點。迷路的英文是 be lost，和誰一起走到哪的英文是 walk (someone) to (somewhere)，有時送客到門口就是說 walk you to the door。
